The privately owned Wordsworth Hotel is a lovely Victorian Lakeland house set in a tranquil Lakeland village. The lounges and stunning new conservatory have spectacular views over the fells that so inspired the poet Wordsworth. The hotel is best known for its warm welcome, friendly and personal style of service not often seen in hotels today.

There are 34 en-suite bedrooms, and 2 suites, several rooms have four posters and Jacuzzi baths. The Prelude restaurant has 2 Rosettes and serves outstanding food with an extensive wine list. The hotel pub next door, The Dove and Olive branch, is a friendly meeting place with traditional beer, tasty snacks and delicious light meals.

There are several rooms that can be used for meetings with natural daylight, with 2 overlooking the gardens ideal for private board meetings or parties.
