Under the direction of Joe Beckett, as it has been for the last 25 years the Bridge Inn remains the friendliest Pub-Restaurant in Sussex. The Bridge Inn was built in 1545 as a customs house for the harbour which was situated on the River Brede which still runs past the rear of the Inn. We have run the Bridge pub and restaurant since 1980 and have developed a comfortable Inn with a warm and friendly atmosphere.
In the restaurant we offer a very comprehensive selection of food. Our specials include Meat pies or Puddings, Grills, Curries, Casseroles and of course a good selection of Fresh Fish. Our Fish can be served either grilled or fried (in our own lager batter).
A good selection of Vegetarian meals is available, at least four to five at all times.
To finish off we have a very naughty selection of home made desserts.
"A friendly, unpretentious pub restaurant, excellent fresh food and a bit of service if you're lucky!"
Joe and June welcome you to The Bridge
