The Manor is conveniently situated in the quiet rural village of Torthorwald, away from town centre noise, but just 2 miles off the A75 Dumfries by-pass on the A709 and eight miles from the M/A74 main North/South trunk road at Lockerbie. The Hotel not only boasts comfortable rooms but also a wide choice of food with superb menus both in the bar and the restaurant, and more importantly at affordable prices, cooked on site by our two expert chefs. Food is available seven days a week at lunch time and in the evenings. All the bedrooms are en-suite and carry many of the little extras.As well as a friendly village bar there is also a coffee lounge and spacious restaurant. A selection of Sky TV channels are available in the bedrooms and Sky Sports is available on large plasma screen in the bar. Free Wi-Fi Internet access is also now available Externally there is a childrens play area and a beer garden, and parking is no problem either with the hotel having its own large car park.
