The Swan Inn free house is a traditional 17th century inn on the banks of the River Soar, in the village of Mountsorrel, Leicestershire, serving cask-conditioned real ales from Theakstons and Ruddles breweries, as well as regularly changing guest beers.

The Swan Inn offers a wide range of freshly prepared home-cooked food, using prime quality, seasonal ingredients in all our dishes. The menu is changed weekly and may vary from a very traditional toad in the hole to seared calf,s liver with crispy polenta. The fish is bought fresh from Leicester market and our Moule Mariniere is a favourite when in season.

Accommodation is also available in an adjoining cottage and includes a large bedroom with king size bed, office with PC and wireless broadband, bathroom with shower and antique roll-top bath, fitted kitchen and cosy lounge.
