Tiffinbites Canary Wharf is where ancient tradition meets 21st Century. Inspired by the famous lunch boxes delivered by dabbah wallahs to thousands in Mumbai every day, Tiffinbites has sourced the finest recipes from around the world. Tiffinbites Canary Wharf has an a la carte menu, a summer lunch menu and of course a fab cocktail list. Half the restaurant is outside offering under-covered seating, and the cosy, relaxed, ambient inside has Bollywood movies playing. Don't leave without trying favourites such as Nihari, a tender lamb shank cooked in an explosive blend of spices, or Balti Chicken, a light, healthy dish with fresh tomatoes and coriander leaf. More famous dishes such as Chicken Biryani and Tandoori King Prawns are also available, along with a range of chaats, street foods, and freshly baked naan breads. Vegetarians are very well catered for, as are children. Health-conscious customers will be happy to learn that the tiffinboxes contain no food colouring, less than 5% fat, and are GM-free. They have even gone to the trouble of designing a fantastic range of cocktails to accompany the delicate flavours of the dishes. Try these in the bar before heading in for dinner. Also while you can smoke at the bar the restaurant is non-smoking - better for those flavours! Open for all day
