Crickley Court was at one time a coaching inn called 'The Crown' and it is thought to be at least 300 years old.The inn also had stables, which were for the extra horses required to help pull the coaches up Crickley Hill. Our two holiday cottages at Crickley Court were converted from the Old Stable Block. They are very well equipped and both have been awarded the 'VisitBritain' 4 Stars rating. Both Amber and Jasmine Cottages can each accommodate 4 people though Jasmine Cottage also has a double bed settee, so could accommodate up to 6 people - a total of 10 guests. Sleeping arrangements are flexible and you can choose between a super king size bed or twin beds. The main bedroom in Jasmine Cottage also has an en-suite shower room. All bathrooms have a wall fitted hairdryer and we provide towels, liquid soaps and shampoos - all help to ease those aching joints after a hard days sightseeing! We also have plenty of games and books for guests to use and enjoy. Both cottages are fully equipped with washing machine / dryer; dishwasher; electric oven and hob; microwave; fridge and freeze; toaster and kettle - as well as books, games and TV with DVD for a relaxing stay! Bed linen, towels, heating and electricity are included in the price. Cot, high chair and stairgate are available if required. Each cottage has storage heaters while there is also a wood burning stove for those cooler evenings in autumn or winter. Each cottage has its own garden with garden furniture and washing line. Crickley Court garden covers two acres and guests are welcome to wander around. There are also children's swings, slide and a climbing frame as well as a tree house for the more energetic youngsters!
