It provides an excellent base for any visitor to the North of England with easy access to towns and cities such as Carlisle, Newcastle, Gateshead and Durham. Or if you prefer to escape to the wide open spaces, we have some great walking, excellent cycling, superb fishing and lots of great things to do and see.
