The Ardyne is situated in a prominent position on the seafront, five minutes by car from the main ferry, or a leisurely stroll for those leaving their cars at home.

Our comfortable hotel is an elegant listed Victorian Villa designed by John Orkney in 1875 and its importance is recognised by Historic Scotland. Its setting within well tended gardens creates an ideal ambiance for a relaxing break and its spectacular views across Rothesay Bay to the Cowal Hills and the Kyles of Bute are unsurpassed.

We have 17 en-suite bedrooms all comfortably furnished. There is a large lounge & bar, both with stunning seaviews where you can relax, enjoy a drink, read the papers or just sit and stare. Our dining room also enjoys the magnificent views and our menus always feature fresh local produce. Meals are complemented by a fine selection of wines, beers and malt whiskies.

Parking for guests.
