Built in the 1890's; this charming Victorian house was originally a sea merchants house. It looks out onto a tree covered Leith Links; originally a golf course where golf championships were played back in the 15 century. The Edinburgh Thistle Guest House provides a very high standard of accommodation at very reasonable terms.
The guest house is centrally situated only a mile and a half from Edinburgh Castle; Royal Museum of Scotland; The Royal Mile and The Palace of Holyroodhouse. The Royal Yacht Britannia is berthed at Leith which is only a ten minute walk away; along with the finest fish restaurants and wine bars. Valerie will be able to recommend the best restaurants to dine in. Check In 12:00; Check Out 10:00. Pets are not permitted. Credit Card details taken upon arrival to secure booking.
