Since 1979 the Blacksmiths Arms has been sympathetically and expertly restored and upgraded to such a high standard. It enjoys an AA 4 Star Rating.This popular and comfortable hostelry is ideal for everyone. With neighbouring Scarborough, and splendid bordering National Park scenery. An ideal place to relax and enjoy comfort, food and excellent Yorkshire hospitality. It is an ideal base for visiting Heartbeat country as well as Whitby & Filey.It is now regarded as one of the areas most charming and popular Inns. The Blacksmiths, one of Britain's few remaining authentic country Inns abounds with character and characters, and incidentally, if you wondered why its called the Blacksmiths Arms, is that next door is the area's only fully operational Smithy.PLEASE NOTE: Check In is from 14:00 & Check Out is by 10:00.
