Welcome to The New Inn, each of our rooms are tastefully decorated and furnished with antique wardrobes and dressing tables and are situated in our sunny pleasant garden on the ground floor in a separate annex to the main building. Each have colour TV and tea and coffee making facilities and complimentary toiletries. Our menu features lovely home cooked food - with produce being sourced locally when ever possible. From steaks to fish and game, we have a delicious menu that offers great variety and choice. We cater for most diets including gluten free and vegetarian dishes. Our monthly steak night is very popular, who can resist two juicy 10oz Rib Eye steaks and a bottle of house wine for only £19.95 per couple. Visitors with a little bit of time to spare should try to see as much of Ilminster as possible and the first port of call should be the Tourist Information Centre located at the Meeting House Arts Centre in East Street. The Meeting House Arts Centre (originally The Unitarian Church) contains an art gallery with works by local and, sometimes, national artists. The exhibitions change monthly and can range from the traditional to the bizarre - they seldom fail to evoke comment. Ilminster's is home to the Warehouse Theatre, established a few years ago by a dedicated band of thespians, it puts on an amazingly high standard of production, sometimes it is difficult to remember they are in fact amateurs.
