The Coach House at Lynnholm is a genuine Victorian coach house that has been converted to provide comfortable bijou accommodation for two people.Lynnholm is situated on a West facing hillside near Thropton; about two miles from Rothbury; in a wonderfully scenic part of Northumberland; with outstanding views of the Cheviot Hills. As one person put it: "this must be the best view you can have of Cheviot with your pyjamas on". The Heritage Coast; Alnwick; Hadrian's Wall; and the National Park are within easy reach. For those interested in wildlife; we still have the occasional visit by a red squirrel; stoats regularly hunt in the grounds and buzzards are overhead most days.Alternatively you can simply do nothing but enjoy the view.The accommodation comprises a double bed sitting room with colour TV (Sky FreeSat) and DVD; kitchen with electric oven; gas hob; fridge/freezer; and microwave; bathroom and dining room. The property has been equipped to very high standards with polished real wood floors throughout and is centrally heated. Electricity; gas and heating oil are included in the cost. Laundry facilities for use by visitors are available in the main house. The Coach House is set in an enclosed garden with a large area of decking and table and chairs for dining out (chiminea barbecue fuel provided) surrounded by two and a half acres of mixed woodland. The location is very private; quiet and peaceful and there is ample private parking space. Ideal for walking; cycling; bird watching; castles; fishing villages; touring the countryside or just chilling.The situation is ideal for anyone who would like to bring a dog (dog bed; stainless steel food and water bowls; ground anchor provided. Dog food may also be purchased by arrangement)For those who wish to bring their own bikes; secure storage is available.The property is available for short lets; minimum of two nights please.We do not allow smoking within the cottage.
