Springfield guest house is a three storey Victorian townhouse built in 1869. The house has six large ensuite bedrooms and all rooms are very large as you would expect from a house of this period. The house was refurbished and changed into a guest house in April 2007. When we refurbished the hotel we kept all of the original features including the beautiful feature stone walls. We have off street parking and secure cycle storage. We are located right in the centre of Rothbury on the main street in the village. There is loads to see and do in this fantastic Northumbrian Village; Cragside Estate (the first house in the world to be lit by hydro electricity) is just over a mile away. Alnwick castle and gardens are just 15 minutes drive away; the coast is around 25 minutes drive away.
