Nestling in glorious countryside close to the Welsh border, this delightful 16th century cottage was formerly a mill, and today is brimful of character and charm. Adjoining the owners' home on a working farm, it sits just 3 miles from fairytale beautiful Lake Vyrnwy, where (by arrangement) visitors can enjoy clay pigeon shooting and archery free of charge. Nature trails, bird watching, fishing, sailing, kayaking and white water rafting are also available. Shrewsbury, Chester and Wrexham are all within an hour's drive and historic Welshpool and Oswestry are under 20 miles. Shop2 miles, pub serving food 3 miles.
