The area surrounding the attractive little nearby town of Llanidloes (6 miles, with its arts centre and regular markets), is wonderful mountain biking, hill walking and bird watching country - Red Kites abound and visitors can enjoy the spectacular daily display at the Red Kite feeding station in Rhayader (9 miles).
