The rooms are furnished to a high standard of comfort and convenience and are fully centrally-heated and double-glazed. Plenty of fluffy towels are supplied and there are gallons of hot water. Parking is easy (all off-road) and the peace and quiet of this lovely area makes a perfect "get away from it all" break. The breakfast is cooked in the farmhouse kitchen and is taken in the light and airy sunroom with perfect views over the farm and the surrounding countryside. The breakfast ingredients are locally sourced where possible, or produced on the farm itself, guaranteeing perfect quality and freshness. If required, special dietary requirements can be catered for (simply make your request at the time of booking). Gilfach is open all year round so it is possible to experience the delights of spring, the warmth and cheer of summer, the beautiful colours of autumn or the cosiness of a winter break. The game fishing is available during the season and prior booking is essential as this is only for our guests. Conveniently situated close to, but undisturbed by, the main A40, Gilfach is the perfect spot from which to explore the Carmarthenshire countryside and coastline, or as a stop-over to and from the Irish Ferries.
