Set high on a hill in West Sussex this magnificent castle and stately home commands stunning views over the River Arun and out to sea. Founded in the 11th century it has been the family home of the Dukes of Norfolk and their ancestors for nearly 1,000 years. Climb to the top of the Keep, explore the fortifications, marvel at the priceless treasures: furniture, paintings and tapestries, and discover rich history and heritage from knowledgeable and friendly guides, wander in the tranquil grounds and chapel and stroll through the newly restored Victorian kitchen and flower gardens as well as the Jacobean-style Collector Earl’s Garden.
