Kimbolton is a delightful village set within rural Cambridgeshire, that forges links back to the Saxons and Normans. The Tudor House replaced a fortified castle where Catherine Of Aragon was imprisoned. A walk around the village will prove rewarding as the fine spire of the 13th Century Church is well worth a look especially the fabulous ‘Tiffany‘ stained glass window. For lovers of the great outdoors a short trip will find the beautiful location of Grafham Water, which spreads over an impressive one and a half thousand acres, whether you climb aboard a yacht, catamaran or even go windsurfing a truly pleasurable experience is sure to be had. If you prefer to keep your feet firmly on the ground there is a ten mile track where the lakeside vistas will uplift the heaviest of hearts, or why not gaze upon Mother Nature’s wonders in the Nature Reserve. For livelier moments the amazing Santa Pod is close, home of European Drag Racing, where the noise, thrill and action is hard to beat. From Classic and Jet Cars, Rocket Bikes, Monster Trucks and so much more. Or perhaps the wonders on offer at St Neots Museum where the original Cells and exhibits from prehistoric times are on show.
