Chalfont St Peter is a large and pretty village in the County Of Buckinghamshire, home to over twelve and a half thousand people. It dates far back into history to Anglo Saxon times, although today sees a rich mix of celebs and titles that call Chalfont St Peter home. It's cosily nestled amongst a tapestry of green countryside and woodland, with the River Misbourne flowing through it's heart, Chalfont St Peter sits amidst a clutch of other villages that are known as The Chalfonts, and is only six miles from Slough. The 18th church that's dedicated to St Peter takes centre stage of the village and replaced an earlier Medieval church whose tower collapsed, there are a few elegant Georgian houses, attractive top drawer houses, and a busy shopping area that will cater for that essential purchase. Chalfont St Peter is often called the Gateway to the Chilterns as the chance to explore the stunning countryside is often taken, there is also an interesting Heritage Trail in the village and the impressive Lady Gibb Wood with an abundance of wildlife to enjoy. Blessed with five golf clubs within three miles ensures any ivitation to Tee off should be accepted.
