Bradley Stoke is a town in Southern Gloucestershire just a few miles from the City of Bristol. With a buffet of delights to choose from, for the lovers of the great outdoors a chance to walk along tree lined paths, Oldbury Court is set betwixt fishponds and woodlands, with riverside walks where you can feed the ducks and enjoy the panoramic views. Or there is always Ashton Court set in 850 acres of woods and grassland with breath stealing views over Bristol, time it right and see the International Balloon Fiesta or the Kite Flying Festival…. Caldicot Castle makes for a fascinating interlude, with a children’s activity station or the chance to have a pic-nic or even a Barb-B-Q what more could be asked for. ‘At Bristol’ is a wonderful science centre where you could be the star of your own TV show, move water uphill, pluck a magical harp or visit the Planetarium for a journey of discovery across the night sky. For lovers of history 12th Century Bristol Cathedral has stunning gothic windows, once inside time rewinds, or how about ‘The Georgian House Museum’ built for a Sugar Merchant explains the difference in life between upstairs and downstairs.
