Wokingham is a busy Market town in Berkshire close to Reading and Bracknell, the only problem is knowing where to start and what to do first, perhaps the Reme Museum showcasing 50 years of technology used by REME (Royal Mechanical Engineers) with terrific exhibits including a 1950’s Guardroom medals, uniforms and so much more, or possibly The Museum Of Aviation is more for you set on the edge of a former airfield, it details the history of aviation in Berkshire, with many exhibits including helicopters, and anti submarine aircraft. Or maybe catch a curtain call at Wilde Theatre where the delights of drama, music and comedy is shared. Or how about the Look Out Discovery Centre, with over 70 interactive exhibits, why not launch a hydrogen rocket, crawl through a giant mole hole or even meet a robot owl, or clip on your skis and feel the air rush past your ears on Bracknell Dry Ski Slope. For a gentler time Trilakes Animal Park is close by, with a beautiful lakeside backdrop is home to miniature ponies, chipmunks, fish, chickens and ducks, with a model railway, and boating pond what more could be asked for..... perhaps more time to explore.
