The village of North Perrott can be found at the southern most border of the beautiful English county of Somerset. It lies about two miles to the east of the town of Crewkerne on the A3066 road. The picturesque church of St Martin in North Perrott dates back to the 12th century and is cut from Ham stone with a stone slate roof. Evidence has been found of Roman and Iron Age settlements in the village during excavations at the Manor House. The Manor Arms is a Grade II listed building dating back to the 16th century and is now a warm and welcoming Hotel for visitors to North Perrott. It features flagstone floors and an Inglenook fireplace, together with oak beams and exposed stone walls for those seeking a touch of old world charm. North Perrott makes an ideal base for visiting the South West and West Country with easy access to the A303 trunk road. It is only about 12 miles from the Dorset coast and is within easy reach of Thomas Hardy Country. Yeovil is five miles to the northeast and the historic and mystical town of Glastonbury lies some 20 miles to the north.
