Did you know that Britain’s longest serving Indian Restaurant is the Veeraswamy in Regent Street? It opened in 1926. Patronized by politicians like Indira Gandhi and Pandit Nehru, it has also been frequented by stars of stage and screen, among them Charlie Chaplin .
