Colin Campbell
Born on 20th of October 1792
Died on 14th of August 1863
Born 1792. Died 1863 - Scottish field marshal.
Served throughout Peninsular War (1804-14) against Napoleon I. Spent nearly 30 years in garrison duty at Gibraltar, Barbados, Demerara and England. Commanded Highland Brigade during Crimean War. Commanded forces in India bringing rebellion to an end. Created Baron Clyde in 1858. Later made a Field Marshal.
