Stage debut with Royal Shakespeare Company in Timon of Athens (1965). Well known as Miss Jones in television sitcom Rising Damp (1974-78). Performances in Duet for One (1980) and A Moon for the Misbegotten (1983) won her Society of West End Theatres awards.
