David Hemery
Born on 18th of July 1944
Born 1944 – British athlete.
Gold medalist in the 120 yards hurdles in the 1966 Commonwealth Games, retained the title in 1970. Winner of the 400 metres hurdles in the 1968 Olympics. Awarded MBE in 1969. Winner of the British Superstars competition held in 1973.
