Studied at the Bristol Old Vic Theatre School and worked at The Glasgow Citizen’s Theatre (1992-94). Became well known as Dr Claire Maitland in the hospital series Cardiac Arrest, received BAFTA nomination in 1995. One of the stars of the television series Cold Feet. Nominated for Scottish BAFTA in 1997 for role in the film Dead by Monday.
