Studied drama at Manchester Polytechnic. Made his professional debut at the Pavilion Theatre in Rhyl. Became well known as the presenter on the television show Game For A Laugh. Worked on shows such as You Bet! and Stars in Their Eyes. Portrayed serial killer Brian Wicklow in the drama Cold Blood (2005).
