Robert Sangster
- Favourite Briton.

Born in Manchester, Greater Manchester
Born on 23rd of May 1936
Died on 7th of April 2004

Sangster was born into the Vernon’s Pools business, and had the nous to get out of it (at a very good price) before the National Lottery slashed its value. Sangster was, however, mainly famed for his horse racing dealings, where he built up a worldwide breeding and racing empire. Among his many wins at the top level of the sport were two in the Derby and three Prix de l’Arc de Triomphes.
