Born 1946 - British celebrity chef.
Worked at the 'Capital Hotel in 1971 earning a Michelin star with Richard Shepherd. Then launched the Greenhouse Restaurant and the Metro Wine Bar. Opened his own restaurant Turner's in Knightsbridge in 1986 and in 2005 Turner's Grill at The Copthorne Hotel Slough-Windsor. Worked for many years as resident chef on Granada Television's This Morning. Awarded a CBE in 2002.
