Born 1963 - Irish actor and director.
First television appearance in the UK was an advertisement for Woolworths when aged four. Best known for his roles as schoolboy Tucker Jenkins in Grange Hill, market trader Mark Fowler in EastEnders and villainous policeman Gabriel Kent in The Bill. Starred in the BAFTA Award science fiction film The Candy Show. Involved in extensive radio work including Les Misérables,The Three Loves of Ida Bliss, We Are Happy, Wavelength and Midweek. Made his debut as a director in the daytime soap opera Doctors (2007).
