Born into a showbiz family – his father was in 1960s band The Tremeloes, his mother an actress and game show hostess – Chesney Hawkes had his greatest moment of fame in 1991, when his single The One and Only spent five weeks at the top of the UK charts. He has had other minor single successes, appeared in various rock musicals, and makes regular appearances on TV shows that have included The Games and Celebrity MasterChef.
