Born 1954 - Scottish pop singer.
Formed The Tourists with musician and composer Dave Stewart. Recorded three albums before disbanding in 1980. Formed The Eurythmics, became one of most successful pop bands of the 1980s. Launched solo album Diva in 1992 and Medusa (1995). Briefly returned as Eurythmics to produce Peace (1999).
