Nick Robinson
Born on 5th of October 1963
As the BBC’s political editor since 2005 (a role he previously filled at ITV) Nick Robinson has become a familiar face and voice nationally. His work has not been without incident – a spat with Alec Salmond, criticism of bias from Alistair Campbell (at Oxford Robinson was a prominent Young Conservative), and antipathy from George W Bush included – but he is a respected commentator and highly effective communicator always keen to push back against media management by political parties.
