After taking a degree in law at Gonville and Caius College, Cambridge, and studying acting at RADA, Stephen Mangan worked in theatre for several years, including time with the RSC, the Old Vic and on Broadway, but it is for his TV roles that he is best known. In the Channel Four sitcom Green Wing he played the comically obnoxious/vulnerable Guy Secretan; and on the superb Episodes he is Sean Lincoln. Add to that his excellent turn as Dirk Gently in the all-too-soon axed eponymous series and his comedic track record is hard to beat.
