Worked as model before turning to acting. Was a Bond girl in On Her Majesty’s Secret Service (1969). Became well known on television as Purdey in The New Avengers (1976-77) and Patsy in Absolutely Fabulous (1992-95). Has made documentaries including Girl Friday (1994). Awarded OBE in 1995.
