Accidents are not always bad. Kate Nash started her musical career after breaking a foot falling down stairs left her immobile and with time to kill. She is a child of the digital age whose demos on MySpace were successful in getting her a manager, and who trained at the BRIT School for Performing Arts and Technology. Nash had a #2 single hit in the UK in 2007 with Foundations, and a #15 placing with Do-Wah-Do, and has made several studio albums, the first of which made it to #1.
