Won the Bournemouth International Conducting Competition at the age of 17. Has since conducted the City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra, Los Angeles Philharmonic Orchestra and the Orchestra of the Age of Enlightenment. Launched Towards the Millennium, a retrospective of 20th century music.
