Died on 22nd of November 1890

Born 1811. Died 1890 - Scottish painter poet.

Exhibited paintings at Royal Scottish Academy from 1834 and at Royal Academy, London in 1842. Most notable paintings were of Northumberland history. First volume of poetry published in1838. Poems published in 1875.
