Tradfest is a new festival, replacing Ceilidh Culture, a grass roots arts festival that ran for 10 years in Edinburgh. Tradfest will be "a curtain raiser for the unrivalled wave of Summer Fèisean and Festivals.

Tradfest will include song, story, arts and crafts, music and dance, along with their interconnections, embracing Scots and Gaelic, and the arts of Scotland's diverse communities in top venues across Edinburgh including Queen's Hall, Usher Hall, Dance Base, the Scottish Storytelling Centre, Teviot Row House, Calton Hill and Arthur's Seat.

TradFest is organised by the Scottish Storytelling Centre on behalf of TRACS (Traditional Arts and Culture Scotland)
