for Christmas Lights On and Lantern Parade as your favourite British event.

The Christmas festivities at Greenwich Market begin with the local school children’s lantern procession and the switching on of the Christmas sparkly lights. The parade will start in the Old Royal Naval College and ends in the Market where children can visit Father Christmas in his grotto as well as meet characters from this year’s pantomime. The lights will be switched on after a big count down. All can join in singing Christmas Carols and enjoy tasty mince pies and warm beverages and extended shopping hours.
