Hello I would like to submit a review of a hotel tha t I have just returned from, and after a marvellous stay, I am surprised it is not listed in County Down. It is called THE CANAL COURT HOTEL, My review is as follows: THANK YOU Comparing this to some of the finest and more expensive hotels in London ( that I have stayed in ), ie value for money and quality of service, perhaps some of them should stay at Canal Court. We were greeted on a daily basis, with what I can only describe as total professionalism from all levels of staff!! Genuinely friendly and helpful, nothing was any bother, rooms were fresh, clean and fully equipt, all information in rooms was informative. Restaurants and bars were fantastic, and last but not least the receptionists were among the most efficient and friendly I have ever come across. Some other hotels could learn a valueable lesson from Canal Court. 10/10

Review of Donaghadee by Agnes Kelly on April 3rd, 2009
Just wanted to say how much I enjoy looking at your Web Site, listening to all your music and viewing your travels. Keep up the good work.
I have been in Canada since 1981 with my family. I do miss Donaghadee as we had our business there, which was Hightrees Garage.
I do go back from time to time, it has been 4 years now. I do see a lot of changes every time I go back, especially all the new houses, also Warren Road has a lot of changes since 1981....
I can't believe Manor Farm is all gone, now it has all new expensive homes.
My brother that lived in Donaghadee is now living in Lisburn. I usually make it one day to
visit all my cousins, also my old neighbours around the Donaghadee, Bangor area.
Have a great 2009
Agnes

Review of Millisle by Elizabeth on March 15th, 2012
Millisle has grown from a small village by the sea to a small town with new housing developments. There are plenty of organisations for children, youth and adults alike - lots of church groups, a thriving football club, two local bars, British Legion, Orange Hall and a Youth Forum. The local Community Association hold public events throughout the year as do the other organisations. The primary school is 'second to none' and has a enthusiastic Principal and staff as well as a 'Friends' group who organise events for the children. Millisle is by the sea and has a number of beaches, a beachpark with slipways for launching small boats, a lagoon for swimming, a new playpark for children and 'trim trail' exercise equipment for adults. The Community Garden is a peaceful retreat by the seashore where you can sit and relax. We also have an excellent 'fish and chip' shop. So don't just drive through - stop and take a walk around - I love it here in Millisle.
