Waltham Abbey, Essex

Review of Waltham Abbey by Anthony Taylor on November 14th, 2007
A pretty and historic little market town on the north east edge of London and bordering Epping Forest. The town is predominately stocked with cockney "cheeky chapies" whose main aspirations extend no further than being a self employed builder or mini-cab driver. Due to the total lack of interest in this backwater fron the local authority the streets are generally full of uncollected rubbish in varying states of decay. However with a change of attitude it could become a nice place to live or visit...

Brit Quote:
My definition of an intellectual is someone who can listen to the William Tell Overture without thinking of the Lone Ranger. - Billy Connolly
