Review of Dartmouth by keith stadden on May 18th, 2006
I wanted to write a quick review regarding the recent Dartmouth Music Festival.....what an fantastic weekend!! The weather held off this year, and the organisors got the mix exceptional right with the correct mix of music, from jazz, rock, blues and a school choir! I understand that it may not go ahead next year due to police charging issue, this will be a shame for the community. I must say the highlights were Joey the Lips and Mind the Gap at the bandstand. A very energetic Lesley Leigh at The Dartmouth Arms on Friday was very entertaining, but outdone that performance when we returned to see her at The Dolphin on Sunday afternoon that had everyone dancing in the street, and even persuaded the police to join in! I truely hope to see you again next year!!!!!!!!
