Maidenhead, Berkshire

Review of Maidenhead by nick on November 5th, 2007
Maidenhead is a wealthy town mixing the old with the modern well and with the added advantage of being situated on a super stretch of the River Thames. There are good leisure facilities, great shops and a numerous pubs, bars and restaurants. The surrounding countryside is rich in history and heritage with both windsor and eton just a short journey away by car or by boat and the area is also famous for its horseracing fraternity, with many trainers having stables close by and 5 racecourses to choose from
