Review of Beauly by Wright on August 12th, 2009
We stayed at Kilmorack House in Beauly, which is near the yellow art gallery that was a former church. The house was the former vicarage. We had a fabulous, relaxing week in this very spacious house. The owners have thought of everything to make your stay enjoyable. We will definitely be returning. The aga in the kitchen was a real treat to cook on and it kept the large kitchen warm and welcoming. The town of Beauly is only a mile away from the house and has every amenity you could need for your stay. The delicatessen shop is a must stop for all visitors. If you like good old fashion service, there is a large shop selling Scottish fabric and clothing in the town, near Boots the chemist. Very nice family.Everyone we met in the town was friendly and polite and provided excellent service. Beauly is well situated if you want to go to Inverness or have a scenic tour of the beautiful Highland region. A small golf club is close to the house which shuts very late should you wish to have a late game. All in all, our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. We would recommend it.
