Review of Strontian by Liz on October 5th, 2007
Strontian is a thriving village at the head of Loch Sunart at the start of the spectacular Ardnamurchan Peninsula. It has a wellstocked shop,Post-Office,and fuel pumps. There is an excellent all day cafe, and a mile out of the village is a cafe, restaurant, craft centre, ideally situated for refreshment at the end of an amazing walk through the oakwoods and along the Strontian river. There is a tourist information centre in the village, and visitors are also welcome to use the new slipway to launch boats and canoes on to the loch.Come and visit---you won't regret it!
