Good Points: It was well laid out and plenty of instructions. I had a superior bedroom which had recently been refurbished. Came with shower gel, bath milk, hand gel and hand cream in dispensers. Luggage rack. Hairdryer. Nice small tv near window on wall. Kettle and choice of coffees and teas. They do room service. Bed comfortable. The atmosphere is low key but smart and welcoming and relaxing.
Bad Points: The reading lights didn't swivel so cast their light onto the bedside tables but were quite small and low so I couldn't read properly with them. Couldn't turn out main light from bed so had to move desk lamp to bedside table in order to read. But that is hardly a big negative.
General review: They have a lovely 'cocktail bar' with walk through to the restaurant, both separate from the main 'local' hotel bar which is the other side. The service is superb and staff very friendly and helpful. The car parking is plentiful. The food is delicious. Its only a 15 min drive to The Burrell Collection.
