Baldock Country Market is a co-operative who sell their members home made/home grown items from baked goods, chutneys, jams and marmalades, free range eggs, to vegetables, soft fruits, plants, flowers and containers. Wood turned cats, dogs, fairy houses, key rings hand made jewellery and greetings cards. Felted bags and animals as well as knitted hats and scarves. Hand made cushions, aprons, tea cosy and oven gloves. They will cater for small occasions, cricket teas, funeral teas meetings etc. They moved from the Community Centre in March 2014 to the Courtyard and Pub at the Cock in Baldock High Street opposite Tesco's car park and are open from 09.30am to midday every Friday - they also sell teas and coffees at very reasonalbe rates.
