I said I would be back, and did we choose a great day to play here again.
The weather was cold but crisp and sunny.
Once again the course was magnificent. The views around the course of the donland and out to sea were stunning.
Considering this is still winter - the greens were true and the fairways and approches were in brilliant condition. Not a temporary tee or green in sight. (When I asked one of the members he said he cannot remember ever being on a temporary tee or green and he had been there for at least 8 years!!).
I can not recommend this course and club enough.
If I lived closer I certainly would join.

What a great day!
The course played really well and was in magnificent shape.
The fairways were just about the right width, with a fair first cut of semi-rough that was OK to play out of, but we were severly punished when we strayed into the deep rough - it certainly made up for the lack of trees!!
The views all around the course were fantastic, with views over the downland and out to sea that helped make the whole day very special.
The halfway house was a welcome break with nicely chilled drinks on this sunny day.
Overall the golf course and the welcome we received from the club is one to be recommended.
